How to apply for e-shram card
For online application of e-shram card, you have to first go to the official website of e-shram portal (eshram.gov.in).
After this you have to go to the home page and click on the option of Register on E-shram
– As soon as you select the option of Register on E-shram, the registration form will open in front of you on the new page.
Now you have to enter your Aadhar card linked mobile number, captcha code, EPFO and ESIC member status on this page.
After this process, you will have to choose the option of sending OTP to the mobile number going forward.
As soon as you select the option to send OTP, you will get an OTP on the registered mobile number, which you have to type in the OTP box.
After typing the OTP, you have to click on the option of register, in this way you will be able to register on the e-shram portal.
After this, fill the application form completely (in which name, address, salary, age, other information related to you will have to be entered)

What are the benefits of e-shram card

An accident insurance cover of Rs 2 lakh will be given to the registered worker on the e-shram portal. If a worker registered on the portal becomes a victim of an accident, an amount of Rs 2 lakh will be given in the event of death or complete disability. At the same time, if the worker is partially disabled, then he will be entitled to one lakh rupees under this insurance scheme.
With the help of this card, the workers of the unorganized sector are given Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Maan Dhan Yojana, National Pension Scheme for self-employed, Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana, Atal Pension Yojana, Public Distribution System, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, National Government schemes like Social Assistance Scheme, Ayushman Bharat, Health Scheme for Weavers, Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana, Prime Minister Employment Generation Scheme will get the benefit.
Registration can be done on e-shram portal till December 31.
Workers of the unorganized sector can take advantage of various schemes run by the Government of India and the Government of Uttar Pradesh by registering themselves on the e-shram portal. Workers can register themselves free of cost from the public facility center, from any post office or can register themselves by visiting the website at ishram.gov.in. The Uttar Pradesh government has also announced to give allowance in two installments of one thousand rupees each to the workers of the unorganized sector who have registered till date 31-12-2021. Against the registration target of 1735300 in Badaun district, so far a total of 487548 unorganized workers have got their registration done on the portal.
