Lord Krishna Janmashtami Story

Krishna Janmashtami Fasting Story, Krishna wishes Story.

According to the opinion of Jai Shri Radhe Krishna Skandapuran, whoever does not observe Krishna Janmashtami fast even knowing that, that person is a snake and a tiger in the forest.  According to the Brahma Purana, in the twenty-eighth yuga, the son of Devaki, Shri Krishna was born on the Ashtami of the Krishna Paksha of Bhadrapada month in Kali Yuga.  If there is no Rohini during the day or night, then observe this fast especially in the night joined by the moon.  The words of Bhavishya Purana are – A person who does not observe Krishna Janmashtami fast in the Shukla Paksha of Shravan month, is a cruel demon.  Fasting is said to be done only on Ashtami Tithi.  If the same date coincides with Rohini Nakshatra, then it will be addressed as 'Jayanti'.  It is said in the Vahanipuran that if there is even one phase of Rohini Nakshatra in the Janmashtami of Krishna Paksha, then it will be addressed by the name Jayanti.  Therefore, fasting should be done in it.  Indra has said - O Brahmaputra, O best among sages, the knower of all scriptures, O God, tell the best of the fasts that fast, by which human beings get salvation, benefits and O Brahman!  By that fast, the living beings also get enjoyment and salvation.  Hearing Indra's words, Naradji said, "At the end of Tretayuga and at the beginning of Dwapara Yuga, there was a very sinful demon named Kansa, who did the blasphemy.  That wicked and despicable errant Kansa had a beautiful sister named Devaki.  The eighth son born from the womb of Devaki will kill Kansa.

Hearing the words of Naradji, Indra said - O great man!  Describe in detail the story of that wicked Kansa.  Is it possible that the eighth son born from the womb of Devaki will kill his maternal uncle Kansa?  Hearing the suspicious words of Indra, Naradji said - O Aditiputra Indra!  Once upon a time .  That evil Kansa asked an astrologer that the best astrologer among the brahmins!  How and by whom will I die?  The astrologer said - O Kansa, the best among the demons!  Devaki, the wife of Vasudeva, who is eloquent and is also your sister.  His eighth son born from his womb, who will defeat even the enemies and will be known in this world by the name of 'Krishna', will kill you at the same time during sunrise.  Hearing the words of the astrologer, Kansa said - O god, the foremost among the wise, now you tell me in which month the eighth son of Devaki will kill me.  The astrologer said - Oh my lord!  On the date of Shukla Paksha of Magha month, you will have a fight with Shri Krishna, who is full of sixteen arts.  In the same battle they will kill you.  That's why my lord!  You protect yourself diligently.  After telling this, Naradji said to Indra- Heakens would undoubtedly die at the hands of Krishna at the time specified by the astrologer.  Then Indra said - O sage!  Describe the story of that wicked Kansa and tell how Krishna would be born and how Kansa would die by Krishna.  Hearing the words of Indra, Naradji again started saying that wicked Kansa said to one of his gatekeepers - Complete protection of my dear sister from this life.

Kansa punishes Devaki and Cassie's.

The gatekeeper said - it will be so.  After the departure of Kansa, his younger sister was saddened and went to the pond with a pot on the pretext of taking water.  Devaki started crying while sitting under a thick tree on the bank of that pond.  At the same time a beautiful woman whose name was Yashoda came and said to Devaki in a loving voice - O Kante!  Why are you moaning like this?  Tell me the reason for your crying.  Then the distressed Devaki said to Yashoda - O sister!  My eldest brother is Kansa, a misadventure attached to lowly deeds.  That evil brother killed many of my sons.  At present I have an eighth son in my womb.  He will kill it too.  There is no doubt or doubt in this matter, because my eldest brother fears that he will surely die from my eighth son.  Hearing the words of Devaki, Yashoda said - O sister!  Don't lament  I am pregnant too.  If I got a girl, then you should take that girl instead of your son.  Thus your son will not be killed by Kansa.  Kansa then asked his gatekeeper – Where is Devaki?  She is not visible at this time.  Then the gatekeeper said in humble voice to Kansa - O Maharaj!  Your sister has gone to the pond to get water.  On hearing this, Kamsa got angry and asked the gatekeeper to go to the same place where she had gone.  Devaki fell on the sight of the gatekeeper.  Then she said that for what reason you have come here.  Hearing his words, Devaki said that there was no water in my house, which I have come to the reservoir to collect.  After this Devaki went towards her home.  pond pass
Kansa again told the gatekeeper that you completely protect my sister in this house.  Now Kansa was so afraid that he got the huge locks locked in the doors inside the house and appointed demons and demons to guard outside the door.  Kansa was trying to save his life by all means.  Once upon a time in the sun of Leo zodiac, the burning clouds established their dominance in the sky circle.  It was a heavy midnight on the Ashtami tithi of the Krishna Paksha of Bhadau month.  At that time the Moon was also in Taurus, on Rohini Nakshatra, on Wednesday, fortunately, when the combined Moon rises in the midnight, when it is a clock north of midnight, then the Shruti-Smriti Puranokta fruit is undoubtedly obtained.  Describing in this way, Naradji said to Indra – Shri Krishna was born in such an auspicious moment called victory and it was at that very moment that the doors of the prison were opened by the influence of Shri Krishna.
The demons who guarded the gate all fainted.  Devaki said to her husband Vasudeva at that very moment - O lord!  You give up sleep and take this eighth son of mine to Gokul, there, give this son to Yashoda, the wife of Nand Gopa.  At that time Yamunaji was completely flooded, but when Vasudevji came down to cross Yamuna with the child Krishna in the soup, at that very moment Yamunaji came to her former stable form as soon as the child's feet touched.  Somehow Vasudevji reached Gokul and after entering Nanda's house, he immediately gave his son to him and took his daughter in return.  He immediately came back from there and reached the prison house of Kansa.

Born of vaishnavi, vaishnavi Birth story.

When all the demon guards woke up in the morning, Kansa asked the gatekeeper, what happened to Devaki's womb now?  Find out about this and tell me.  When the gatekeepers went to the jail obeying the orders of the Maharaj, there was a girl in the lap of Devaki.  Seeing this, the gatekeepers informed Kansa, but Kansa was afraid of that girl.  So he himself went to the prison and grabbed the girl from Devaki's lap and slammed her on a stone rock, but the girl went to the sky from the illusion of Vishnu and went into space and turned into electricity.  He told Kansa that O wicked one!  The one who killed you has been born in Nanda's house in Gokul and from that your death is sure.  My name is Vaishnavi, I am born from the illusion of Lord Vishnu, the creator of the world, saying this she went to heaven.  On hearing that voice, Kansa got angry.  She sent the demon Putana to Nandji's house to kill Krishna, but when she began to breastfeed the demonic Krishna, Krishna pulled her life from her breast and she died calling the demonic Krishna-Krishna.  When Kansa received the news of Putana's death, he sent a demon named Keshi in the form of a horse, followed by a demon named Arishta in the form of a bull to kill Krishna, but both of them also died at the hands of Krishna.  .
After this Kansa sent a demon named Kalyakhya in the form of a crow, but he too was killed by Krishna.  Kansa was greatly frightened by the death of his mighty demons.  He ordered the gatekeepers to present Nanda immediately before me.  When the gatekeeper appeared with Nanda, Kansa told Nandji that if you want to save your life, then bring the flowers of Parijat.  If you are not able to bring it, then your death is certain.

Hearing Kansa's words, Nanda said 'Aisa hi hoga' and went towards his home.  Coming home, he narrated the entire story to his wife Yashoda, whom Krishna was also listening to.  One day Shri Krishna was playing ball with his friends on the bank of river Yamuna and suddenly he himself threw the ball into Yamuna.  The main purpose of throwing the ball at the Yamuna was to somehow bring the Parijat flowers.  So he climbed the Kadamba tree and jumped into the Yamuna.  Gopal named Sridhar narrated the news of Krishna jumping into the Yamuna to Yashoda.  Hearing this, Yashoda came running to the bank of river Yamuna and praying to the river Yamuna, she said - O Yamuna!  If I see the child, then I will definitely observe the fast of Rohini Yukta Ashtami of Bhadrapada month because mercy, charity, gentleman, birth in Brahmin family, Rohiniyukt Ashtami, Gangajal, Ekadashi, Gaya Shradh and Rohini fast are all rare.  The fruits obtained by observing thousands of Ashwamedha Yagyas, thousands of Rajasuya Yagyas, charity pilgrimages and fasting are obtained by observing the fast on Krishnashtami.  Narada Rishi told this to Indra.  Indra said - O best among the sages, Narada!  After jumping into the Yamuna river, what did that child-like Krishna do in Hades?  Tell this full story also.  Narada said - O Indra!  Nagraj's wife said to that child in Hades that what are you doing here, where have you come from and what is the purpose of coming here?  The snake wife said - O Krishna!  Have you played gambling in which you have lost all your money?  If this is true, then go to your home with a necklace of pebbles, crowns and pearls, because at this time my lord is sleeping.  If they get up they will eat you.

Krishna and kaliyanag War Story, Lord Krishna in yamuna river incident.

Hearing the words of the snake wife, Krishna said - 'O Kante!  For what purpose I have come here, I will tell you the story.  Understand that I have lost the head of Kaliyanag in a game with Kansa and have come here to get the same.  On hearing this talk of the child Krishna, the serpent wife became very angry and while lifting her sleeping husband, she said - O lord!  This enemy has come to your house.  So you violate it.  On hearing the words of his mistress, Kaliyanag woke up from sleep and the child started fighting with Krishna.  In this war, Krishna fainted, to overcome the same unconsciousness, he remembered Garuda.  As soon as he remembered, Garuda came there.  Shri Krishna now mounted Garuda and started fighting with Kaliyanag and he defeated Kaliyanag in the war.  Now Kaliyanag knew very well that the one with whom I am fighting is Shri Krishna, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu.  So he prostrated at the feet of Krishna and presented many flowers produced from Parijata in the crown and presented them to Krishna.  When Krishna was about to walk, Kaliyanag's wife said, O lord!  I could not know Krishna.  O Janardan, without mantra, without action, without devotion, protect me.  Oh God !  Give me back my lord.  Then Shri Krishna said - O serpent!  I will take away your husband in front of Kansa who is the strongest of the demons, otherwise you go to your home.  Now Shri Krishna danced on Kaliyanag's hood and came over the Yamuna.  Thereafter, the three worlds were shaken by Kaliya's Kunkar.  Now Krishna left for Kansa's Mathura city.  Seeing the lotus flowers there, that Kaliya snake also went to the reservoir in the middle of Yamuna.

God Shree Krishna and Demons king Kansa war story. (Shree Krishna killed Kansa Story).

Here Kansa was also amazed and Krishna returned to Gokul in a happy mood.  On his arrival in Gokul, his mother Yashoda performed various festivals.  Now Indra asked Naradji - O great man!  The creatures of the world were very happy at the arrival of the child Sri Krishna.  After all, what character did Shri Krishna do?  Please tell me all that.  Narada told Indra- The city of Mathura, which defeats the mind, is situated in the south part of the Yamuna river.  There lived Chanur, the great brother of Kansa.  From that Chanur the battle of Shri Krishna was declared.  O Indra!  The battle between Krishna and Chanur was very surprising.  Krishna was in child form than Chanur.  With the words of Bheri conch shell and Mridanga, Kansa and Keshi were watching this battle in the middle of the public meeting of Mathura.  Shri Krishna killed him by trapping his feet around Chanur's neck.  After the death of Chanur, he fought with Keshi.  In the end Keshi was also killed by Krishna in the battle.  After Keshi's death, all the living beings watching the battle began to cheer for Shri Krishna.  The killing of Chanur and Keshi by child Krishna was very heart breaking for Kansa.  So he called the soldiers and ordered them that you should fight with Krishna by being equipped with all weapons.  O Indra!  At that very moment Shri Krishna meditated on Garuda, Balarama and Sudarshan Chakra, as a result of which Baldevji came with Sudarshan Chakra and mounted on Garuda.  Seeing them coming, the child Krishna took the Sudarshan Chakra from him and himself, sitting on the back of Garuda, killed many demons and demons, dismembered the bodies of many.
In this battle, Shri Krishna and Baldev killed innumerable demons.  Balramji with his weapon weapon plow and Krishna with Sudarshan Chakra annihilated the group of huge demons on the seventh day of Shukla Paksha of Magha month.  When in the end only the wicked Kansa survived, Krishna said, O wicked, ungodly, wicked man, now I will free this world from you by fighting and killing you on this great battlefield.  Saying this, Shri Krishna caught hold of his hair and twisted Kansa and threw it on the earth, due to which he attained death.  On the death of Kansa, the gods blew conch shells and flowers.  The community present there was hailing Shri Krishna.  On the death of Kansa, Nanda, Devaki, Vasudeva, Yashoda and all the creatures of this world celebrated the festival of Harsha.  After listening to this story, Indra said to Naradji - O sage, tell the complete law of this Krishna Janmashtami and what merit is obtained by doing it, what is the method of doing it?  Naradji said - O Indra!  This fast should be observed on Krishna Janmashtami of Bhadrapada month.  On that day Sri Krishna should be established by following the rules of celibacy etc.  First of all, by placing the idol of Shri Krishna on the golden urn, worship Shri Krishna with sandalwood, incense, flowers, lotus flowers etc.  Keep Guruchi, small brass and saunth separately in front of Shri Krishna.  After this, establish ten forms of Lord Vishnu along with Devaki.  Worship the ten incarnations of Lord Vishnu, Gopika, Yashoda, Vasudeva, Nanda, Baladeva, Devaki, Cows, Vatsa, Kaliya, Yamuna River, Gopagan and Gopaputras, in the presence of Hari.  After this, at the end of the eighth year, perform Udyapan Karma of this important fast.
Build a golden statue of Shri Krishna with the help of as much power as possible.  After this, worship 'Matsya Kurma' by this mantra.  Select Acharya Brahma and the eight Ritvijas in the Vedic manner.  Please the Brahmin daily by giving him Dakshina and food.  Eat light food on the night before fasting and observe celibacy.  On the day of fasting, take bath early in the morning and retire from routine activities.  After saluting Surya, Soma, Yama, Kaal, Sandhi, Bhoot, Pawan, Dikpati, Bhumi, Akash, Khechar, Amar and Brahmadi, bow facing east or north.  After this, take the water, fruit, kush and smell and take a resolution, Mamakhilpaap, with all the best Siddhaye Shri Krishna Janmashtami Vratamahan Karishye.  Now at midday, after bathing with black sesame water, fix a 'Sutika Griha' for Devkiji.  After that install the idol or picture of Lord Shri Krishna.  The idol should have Devaki breast-feeding the child Shri Krishna and Lakshmi ji touching his feet or such expressions.  After this, worship with rituals.  The names of Devaki, Vasudeva, Baldev, Nanda, Yashoda and Lakshmi should be mentioned in the worship respectively.  Then offer a wreath with the following mantra- 'Pranme dev janani tvaya jatastu vamanah'.  Vasudevat and Krishna Namastubhyam Namo Namah.  In the suprataya pradattam, grihanaam namostu te.
